This scroll sets forth how Fantasy World Generator, crafted by Windmill Tales, handles the information of those who wield it. The short version: there is nothing to hand over. The App carries no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, it does not request internet access, and everything you make with it stays on your own device.

We do not directly collect, store, or process any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, media files, or any other identifying data, and none is transmitted to us.
Any app-related data, such as preferences, generated content, saved favourites, campaigns, and journals, is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us or any third party.
There is no advertising in the App, no analytics or crash-reporting library, and no tracking or attribution service of any kind. The App does not request internet access, so there is no channel over which your data could leave the device even in principle.
A note for returning users. Earlier versions of the App showed advertisements through Google AdMob, which asked for consent on first launch and used your device's Advertising ID and IP address. That was removed in version 4.35.0 along with the advertising library itself, so no consent dialog appears any more and nothing remains to opt out of.
The App is used to generate names, characters, places, maps, histories, and entire sessions for role-playing, world-building, and creative purposes, and to store optional local preferences, favourites, campaigns, and journals. All of it happens on your device.
None. The App integrates no third-party services whatsoever: no advertising network, no analytics, no crash reporting, no attribution or tracking SDK, and no cloud storage. Nothing in the App talks to a server, ours or anyone else's.
Your generated content, saved favourites, folders, campaigns, journals, and application preferences are stored locally on your device using standard storage provided by the Android operating system. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. When you export a PDF, text, or Markdown file, or back up your favourites, that file is written only to the location you choose on your device or to apps you explicitly share it with; it is never sent to us. If you uninstall the application, locally stored data is permanently deleted.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share personal data, because we do not collect any. No data processing of any kind is connected to the App: there is no partner, processor or service receiving anything from it.
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR and equivalent local laws. We hold no personal data about you and no third party receives any through the App, so in practice there is nothing for these rights to reach. They are listed in full so you know where you stand, and you may exercise any of them against us at any time.

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own systems, there is no retention period to define on our end, and no third party holds anything either. Local App data (favourites, preferences) remains on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear App data.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the App provides no way for any data to be sent anywhere. Since no personal data is collected on our servers, all App data remains on your device and is protected by the standard sandboxing and security mechanisms of the Android operating system.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will endeavour to provide notice within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
